Singing Assemblies - week 4


This week, Nursery and Reception are learning a new song about dinosaurs and singing some old favourites, Lower Phase are making up silly rhymes in The Quartermaster’s Stores, and Upper Phase are singing South African freedom song Shosholoza in up to three parts as once!

Musical challenge - create your own guitar!

Here's my attempt to make a musical instrument out of junk modelling - it started as a guitar, but it's ended up making such a low-pitched sound that it's definitely a bass guitar rather than a normal one. Can you make your own instrument from things in your home? You could build drums, shakers, scrapers, string instruments, even something you blow into to make a noise...
